Wisconsin Region of Phi Theta Kappa:  2018 Regional Convention

A block of rooms has been reserved under the group name “Phi Theta Kappa.” Rooms are $94.00/night. Chapters must make their own reservations, payment arrangements, and supply tax exempt information. To ensure the group rate, make reservations by February 23, 2018.


Conference Overview & Highlights:
The Regional Convention offers many opportunities for Phi Theta Kappa members, advisors, and alums from Wisconsin to engage in personal and professional development. From keynote speakers and workshops, to a College Fair, to a scholarly fellowship activity, to the Regional Awards Ceremony–this conference will have something for everyone. Here are some highlights:

  • Friday Honors in Action/Fellowship Activity:  Learn about the new Honors Study Topic, “Transformations: Acknowledging, Assessing, and Achieving Change” and then attend a private showing of the new movie A Wrinkle in Time.   • Saturday Keynote Address:  “Developing Leaders Who Create a Winning Culture” by Steve Jones
    Culture either happens by design or default. In this session, Steve Jones will discuss how to intentionally create and grow a “winning” culture by developing leaders. Learn how connections, mindset, and the principles of servant leadership impact leadership development and cultural growth.
