Greetings From the Regional Vice President

Heather Schroeder, Wisconsin Region Vice President

Greetings to all PTK members from Beta Epsilon Omicron!  It is this time of the semester that many new PTK members become inducted. I want to congratulate each and every one of you who have accepted membership and those who participated in their chapter’s induction ceremony.

At Fox Valley Techincal College  we had over 70 students who accepted membership and 27 students participated in the formal  induction ceremony this fall. It was amazing to see all the new inductees at the Beta Epsilon Omicron Induction on November 8. Luke Leitner, FVTC’s Student Life Assistant for Leadership Programs, was Beta Epsilon Omicron’s honorary inductee and keynote speaker. In his keynote address, Luke encouraged new inductees to never give up and to strive for things that may seem hard to reach. This is a great message for new inductees and all PTK members.

I want to formally welcome every inductee to Phi Theta Kappa. This is a great accomplishment, and I encourage all new members to become active in their chapters. Each chapter works hard to make a difference in their community and the lives of other PTK members. Now, as a member of PTK, you are invited to participate in PTK Catalyst in Orlando, Florida, on April 4-6, 2019. Come and celebrate with other chapters and see the amazing things PTK members and advisors have accomplished throughout the school year.
